There's not much to like about asian culture other than 20 year old video games. Japan doesn't really make games anymore and whatever they do make, no matter the medium used, sexualized prepubescent girls are the primary focus for leering asian males. Just look at what the space shooter genre (an asian mainstay) has devolved to. If not preteen girls then its hyper effeminate males.
The little girl and effeminate male stuff is just too dominant to enjoy anything coming from the east anymore.
I guess Pac-Man CE/DX was made in Japan. As were the Ninja Gaiden games. But honestly that's all I can think of positively coming from asian waters since Street Fighter II. I also like the Metroidvania games. However they all have gay protagonists as per required by Japanese standards these days. So I can't look back at them too fondly.
Can asians get over the anime/manga style and draw a little different from each other rather than be Disney-rip-off clones? I don't think that's possible.
The culture is highly racist and insular as well. Which has likely led to this strange feedback loop of perversion asians are getting into these days.
Also suicide nets and a majority of asians living under oppressive regimes without a hint of revolt.
