how do bicycle helmets turn you fag

It's mind boggling.  When you put on a bicycle helmet, you look like a fag.  No other type of helmet has that powerfully queering effect.  Has anyone researched the factors?

What if I am not on a bicycle?  If you stand inside a house and put on the helmet, you still look like a fag.
