...and the fish creatures rejoiced, because now they could render the sky with fire, and they said "Now that Nyarlathotep has given us this ultimate gift, we will finally be invincible, and we will fear no longer." and the lords soon gave the command to slaughter their own young, and the sea became red with blood, and merrily they danced and killed and sang praises of the Old Ones, and Nyarlatotep enjoyed his view of all the festivities, until there was nothing left but the spiraling towers on the ocean floor of a once so glorious civilization.
...and as the pyres died, Nyarlathotep laughed one more, at the merriment and the eager he had seen in the eyes of those they had called wise, and how they had worshipped his every word with an obsessed fever like if they were paving the road to an untold paradise, and at all the praising titles they had given him - their messiah.
