Only disproven in part. There is a DNA type among Ashkenazic Jews that comes from Eastern Europe and is inherited from father to son. It's called R1a1 and found in up to 13 percent of Ashkenazic Jews. It's very common among Christian people living in countries like Ukraine and Belarus. Whether it comes from intermarriage with the Khazars is unclear; it could just as easily come from relations with East Slavs.
