Have been working for X for almost 4 years. Was originally brought into the job thinking that it was going to be a challenging growth-oriented job with a lot of responsibility that would expose me to range of different aspects of the kind of work that I do.
That was the promise.
What it turned out to be was a mindlessly repetitive job answering the phone, performing painfully mundane tasks, all under the watchful eye of a deeply insecure and paranoid manager who likes to break up the day by publicly humiliating his underlings and harassing us, and doing things like breaking into my computer and opening up links to ratemypoo.com for me to log into, for his own personal entertainment, among other juvenile B.S.
