hould Germany & Argentina give a rematch?

Footballing atrocities happen every day at all levels of football.

But it is rare that an avoidable game changing footballing atrocity is witnessed live by a worldwide audience.

I will admit that after seeing Lampard's goal ruled out that I felt quietly confident that the referee would award England a dodgy penalty in the 2nd half, or at least wrongly rule out a good German goal for offside.

Upon witnessing the Tevez offside fiasco my first thought was that Argentina would allow Mexico to walk the ball into the net from the restart.

But I am English. Yes, I'll admit it. I was raised by English parents and Grandparents. If someone drops a pound coin I pick it up and give it back to them. I don't slide my foot over it and watch them crawl around, then kick them repeatedly in the anus. I don't vote for or serve a government intent on ethnic cleansing, nor do I provide welcome for the fleeing cowards that do.

Reputation management is the new P.R. Both nations have a chequered and some might say uneasy relationship with the rest of the world. should Germany & Argentina volunteer a rematch?

Even if they did, they wouldn't get it because FIFA is full of old nits who like things the way they were 60 years ago.

Soccer is shit and FIFA is a rigged and horrible. The refs are shit and they don't even use technology to review shit. It's up there with the NBA in the way they have bias refs who are told how to call things.

so guys Amerifag here. i've been inspired by football. the crowds, the tension and the strategy of it all. anyway i've been thinking of taking it up...to go pro. i'm 21, and i've never played a football in my life. is that too late? if i work really hard you think i can make it to Europe and play for big clubs there? also i want to make this happen by 25. other i goto plan B and sign with a F1 racing team -- i've clocked 30,000 hours in Gran Tourismo, been playing it since #1.
