i'm wondering why the word nigger is used so frequently on this site.
I don't really have a huge problem with it, im not black, and most black people really bug me, but i think its just too offensive of a word to be used this frequently.
I'm talking about the word nigger being part of so many of the random names, mainly.
I think racism is better left to shitty boards like /b/. I mean i know that if i was just a peace and drug loving black person and I went on 4chan looking to talk about pokemon and music and such with like minded people, I would be really offended and confused about the frequency of the word on the site.
I know it has a special place in internet culture, and the various chans, but i just think that this site is too open minded and generally accepting to be using such a word so frequently. I don't even think that very many people on this site are actually racists...
I'm also not petitioning to have it changed really, but if MVB and the other owners see my point, maybe enough of the world4ch community agrees with me that it should be changed.
There are perfectly fine black people and i dont think they deserve to see such an ugly word when all they want to do is browse world4ch like the rest of us.
