Losing hair from all over body

Doctor says it's not alopecia because the patterns of loss are wrong (ie. I don't have bald patches on my head, just general thinning).

I probably lose around 200 head hairs per day and loads of eyelash and eyebrow hair. I can pull most any hair off the rest of my body with minimum effort.

I don't really look like I'm balding because I had a crapload of hair to begin with.

Any words of wisdom anon can give?
