I've got a lot of love for BSD, but linux has more modern software support. If I was going to have a server I would love to run BSD on it, (I have used it as a desktop OS in the past as well, just to try it). Every time I've ever run a server before though it's been debian. nI wouldn't mind BSD though.
Weird thing I found about it is if you make a shell script and stick it in /bin or somewhere, you have to type "rehash" befopre the path realises it's there, as though it keeps all paths cached. Anyway, stable as fuck, blah blah stoned.
