That's true. I can't see how he can make it any more "modern" unless it's being coded entirely from scratch and completely divorces from Futaba, not only aesthetic-wise, and code-wise but functionally and from its very foundations as well.
But, nothing to do but sit back with some popcorn and watch it all unfold.
