The World Cup has only been won by 7 nations.
4 from Europe, 3 from South America... no countries outside of these 2 Continents have won it!
Every time the World Cup has been hosted outside of Europe, it has been won by a Non-European country.
Only ONCE has a Non-European country won the World Cup when it has been hosted in Europe. That was Sweden 1958, and won by none other than Brazil.
Italy have made the World Cup Final every 12 years since 1970, and lost, won, lost, won since then... 1970 - lost to Brazil, 1982 - beat W.Germany, 1994 - lost to Brazil, 2006 - Beat France. Looks like they will make the final again in 2018 and lose to brazil, then again in 2030 and win... too funny!
So my prediction, based on the above, is for Brazil or Argentina to win this World Cup. Out of these two countries, I prefer Argentina! (I'm not Argentinian by the way)
