Intelligent + handsome a rare breed?

So today I got an email from a professor that is in charge of the Honors Society that I am a part of in my college, the email had some pictures from the induction ceremony, which I couldn't attend, mostly because I didn't want to.

Looking at the pictures (143 of them) I couldn't help but notice that just about all the members of this society, are all nerd looking, and ugly.

Makes me wonder, is it just common to be smart and ugly? Does being smart make up for the being ugly part?
Am I blessed by having both great looks and intelligence? Anyone else feel the same way, or can relate?

I'm intelligent, handsome and have a large penis with ribs, for everyone's anal delights. :3
