the nature of /r9k/ is to TRY TOO HARD. you have to try extra hard to think of """original""" posts, but really what happens is you just make the same posts over and over with "lolm00tblox" at the end. you can't even risk posting an image you have saved unless you created it personally, which means unless you want to be muted you pretty much have to alter the image by yourself if you truly want to post it.

it's that these obstacles distract posters who could actually bring genuine discussions and not "a gangbang of whining" and make them say "fuck it, this is retarded." while the people who TRY TOO HARD, they fit right in. and that's why you get shitty, shitty posts. the people who try too hard on the internet are the people who try too hard irl, and everyone knows they're the most loathed kind of people.
