EPIC NEW TASK FOR ANON LEGION

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-09 11:46

"It would not be difficult to construct a worm that would go through the Net, clicking on every Google or Yahoo! affiliate ad that it saw," Levy says. "If enough of these were loose, you'd swamp the entire system in noise - millions or even billions of extra clicks. It would be very hard to defend against."

Is this likely to happen? "I would like to be able to say that people aren't that stupid or greedy or aggressive or mindless," says Chase Law's Butler. "But I can't say any of those things. That is definitely the threat - a threat to the entire system by somebody who is just doing it for the hell of it."

We must destroy AdWords /lounge/!! This is the most epic task we've had in years. This could bring Anon back to legion status? Somebody write a little bot that clicks on ads heaps of times and seaarches the google for adsensed sites. This is epin but we have to say ebaums did it. Who can deliver the bot?

They run a shitty video hosting service, full of limitations and ads. But they have money and can afford the most bandwidth. And so they have the most users. How did they get that money? By building up complex, intimate profiles of their users based on tracking their every move with cookies such as the DoubleClick DART cooky they use. Their search is fail and spammed to death. Yahoo is far better. But Google has the most users because it successfully branded itself. Really it is a market research/ad serving company not a search company. By definition they spy on you, they track you, they build up identifiable profiles of you based on email and webtools and all the other tracking methods.
