For me, it was a much more enjoyable community when it was college students only and didn't have those fucking apps. As soon as it opened up for everyone there were trolls who made accounts pretending to be their favorite celebrities and anime characters and everyone's parents got involved too.
Zuckerberg had every right to do it and make some cash, but now I feel he's emphasizing quantity over quality.

A while ago, I noticed that all my friends did not use facebook (or even have a computer for that matter) and all my facebook friends were old acquaintances whom I really don't talk to anymore. So I deleted my account because I was only maintaining it for appearances and socially, it wasn't getting me anywhere.
Now that I'm back in school, a few people have been bugging me to get a facebook account. I'm kinda startled by the fact that people I barely know care that much about my social network.

They don't care about your social network people just want to add another "friend" to their list for bigger e-penis purposes.
I know people that have over 9000 friends but do you think they actually socialize with or even talk to these people on a regular basis? Hell no.
