san pellegrino is the greatest bottled water

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-09 7:42

i consider myself to be a bottled water connoisseur, but embarrassingly enough, i have never had this exquisite product until today. i have seen it many a time in the supermarket and have always wanted to try it, but for whatever reason i went with a trusted/cheaper brand instead. that was a huge mistake. first, it doesn't have that bitterish aftertaste Perrier has and the carbonation is unlike anything i have ever experienced, just godly. it's not an intense large carbon bubble fizzy burn thing like a lot of carbonated beverages have, the bubbles feel much smaller and the just kind of massage your tongue, creating a superb mouth feel that is without peer. this has skyrocketed to the top of my bottled water list and will, no doubt, become my "go to" bottled water. and to think, i have been pursuing spring water all this time in the quest for h2o perfection. no, it's all about sparkling mineral water - it's all about san pellegrino.

things i like about san pellegrino:

    * neutral, understated flavor
    * classy lable
    * cabonation level
    * it has a cool sounding name
    * the bottle is glass, not plasitc

You know how I know you're gay?

Carbonated beverages are terrible!

Why has this gimmick survived for so long? All it does is make things undrinkable! I always shake the bottle until it goes flat.

yeah, bottled water is great if you like drinking standing water.

also, anything with carbonation in it robs the body of oxygen.
way to go, guise, kill yourselves with kindness.

things i like about san pellegrino:

    * neutral, understated flavor
     (What other flavour does water come in?)
    * classy lable
     (No comment...)
    * cabonation level
     (And how fizzy would that be out of 10?)
    * it has a cool sounding name
     (You obviously never took a second language as a kid)
    * the bottle is glass, not plasitc
     (I agree with you on this one)

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-10 7:37

Did you really make a thread about a brand bottled water?
Holy fuck.

Agree 100%. San Pellegrino = an experience in awesomeness. I go through a couple bottles per week.

Add Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and it is on an entirely new level.

there are few things in life more important than the quality of the water we drink. remember that episode of star trek ng where that alien referred to humans as "bags of water" 'casue we pretty much are just that, bags of water, and it is paramount that we refill our bags with only the highest quality water. we are what we eat? to an extent. but we are mostly WHAT WE DRINK. and is san pellegrino quality water? well just look at this excerpt from wikipedia:
San Pellegrino mineral water has been produced for over 600 years.[2] In 1395, the town borders of San Pellegrino were drawn, marking the start of its water industry. Leonardo da Vinci visited the town in 1509 to sample and examine the town's "miraculous" water, later writing a treatise on the subject.
yeah, that's right, THE da vinci traveled great distances at risk to life and limb to have the privilege to try what we can just grab off the shelves today. think da vinci would travel to try "just as good" tap water? i think not. but i guess you know better than da vinci....

Agreed. It's the best water you can get. I got turned onto it by Larry David because he drank it on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

It's more precise to measure them out in ml increments.

Name: Anonymous 2010-04-17 16:40

Grow some balls and drink something non-solely-water.

I have vowed never to pick up a bottle of San Pellegrino because of this thread.

So there's no net change.

Not when the number ends in a 0, then it's just longer and exactly the same accuracy.
You're almost as bad as hospitals that put 1000mL instead of L.

I think you mean precision.  However, bottle contents are not stated with margins of error, so really you are being silly.

Excuse me, but might you try that post again when it actually makes sense in the context of the thread?
