Social Networking

In the past, social networking actually had a purpose. For instance, if we were friends, I might know a guy who could give you a job.

Nowadays, it's there simply for itself. People exponentially grow their social networks for the sole purpose of having a bigger social network.

Modern social networking such as facebook servers no true purpose because of the stigma surrounding it which appropriately also best describes it: wasting/killing of time.

Nobody gets anything out of posting on status updates, people just want to look cool near one another, unlike in the 70's, 80's or even 90's everyone sits at home and rarely sees friends until the weekends. They just make stupid little remarks to one another which only tarnish their image, its not about being a true friend or staying classy just about whoring yourself out to the world so your addiction to a larger friend tally keeps growing.

Yeah it is a massive time waste.

Even if you meet a hot girl on it there ultimately is no point in it. Everyone may as well be exactly the same or robots even, including yourself.

Realife socializing = face-to-face. Online socializing = face-to-pixelized words.
