For all you who illegally download media

You do realize that these things cost money to produce, right? Music, films and tv shows are in serious financial decline. So what are you going to do when the production resources evaporate and popular entertainment is reduced to the level of Mexico's? Will you whine about the declining quality of entertainment without acknowledging your part in it? Do you feel any responsibility for the job losses that occur in the industry?

I would find this highly amusing, I would enjoy the camp factor! If you can't work on a budget you're not much of an artist now are you.

No wonder movies after 2000 suck!

They should stop trying to base it all on theater attendance.  Start releasing it on Netflix earlier, or TV.

I only download old ps1/dreamcast/n64/nes/snes/genesis/gb/gbc/gba games because they're so old that no one could make money off of them anyway.

Yet there are some who still whine and say it's stealing. What would be the purpose of buying it online from some random joe anyhow? It wouldn't benefit the original developers/publisher so who cares. Well there is the VC, and I have a few on my Wii, but it's just really really overpriced so I just don't care anymore. Yeah.

you do realize that illegally downloading media is only illegal if you do it somewhere where it is not legal, right?  if you are in a country that doesn't have draconian copyright laws, you can illegally download all the media you want legally.  which brings up the question, if illegally downloading media legally in fact rapes media producers up the ass as many claim, why is it not illegal?

I hate movies, they've always sucked, I fucking hope they die like newspapers, good riddance of bullshit.

I don't steal video games, even though I think they should be released open source, because I want to encourage the the makers of good games, I only download games that aren't being produced any longer, like >>8, and only because I don't think they should just stop being played, if it was good back then, it'll be good now.
Honestly I'd prefer if the games were released as open source because of people in the future who would make it better, not so it would be free.

The movies and shows that make the most money now are awful, I hope the industry either gets an overhaul or just painfully collapses under its own mistakes and arrogance.

The media never had it so good.  Downloads haven't compromised their market; in fact the market's appetite has only been whetted.
