Addendum: Get separated from your closest friend for a year or so (college etc.) Is he still your best friend? has he changed? Do you still trust him with your secrets? With time, people change, trust no one because todays best friend could be a potential enemy in the future due to unforseen circumstances and you'll regret giving him the weapons to use against you in the first place. people are selfish... all of them, NO EXCEPTIONS!
