The only answer I seem to get is because there is a high risk of producing genetically flawed offspring.
First of all incest is legal in every state. Marriage doesnt mean you have to reproduce. Anyone else with a genetic disorder that has a high risk of passing it on to offspring is not legally bared from reproducing. A woman can drink and smoke all she wants during pregnancy. It is not illegal for women over 40 to reproduce. If tardbabies were the reason that relatives could not legally marry then wouldnt our legal system be saying that tardbabies are unwanted people?
