I eat almost everything deep-fried

About 6 months ago, we got a Delonghi deep fryer. It took a little working out, but after we started buying the good ADM oil in bulk at Costco, everything became delectable. Thing is that if you do it right, it doesn't come out oily. You have to cook at a high temperature, and then the food is cooked by the oil, but not saturated in it. It's no worse than doing a pan-fry on the stove. The difference between even good restaurant fried chicken, like Popeye's, and good homemade stuff is night and day. And fries actually come out tasting like potato, not like corn oil like Wendy's fries.
