Should I practise by driving on the wrong side of the road when its quiet here in the US before I go?

At high speed.

Well Im UKish and I have driven on the wrong-side in both my car and a hire car (so i've been sitting on both sides) and found it easy as pie, except for one time on a way in downtown phoenix, az when my mind flicked back into left-side and i got a little confused then almost knocked a policeman off his bike. he stopped but i explained im foriegn and he let me go

Funny story.  For me the change was easy.  It was like flipping a switch in my head.  But I did have trouble switching back.  I spent months spacing where I was and what side I needed to be on when I came home.  I am left handed and I've wondered whether that had anything to do with my confusion.  It's easy for left handers to write backwards too.

Take a vacation to the US Virgin Islands..  I hear they drive on the left there even though it's still in the US
