when i'm walking down the street, my sophistication is immediately discernible to even a casual observer, from my fashion -- which is always forward-thinking and never trendy -- to the way i comport myself.
when people hear me speak, they're stunned, my deep enunciation and flawless articulacy tickling their unlearned minds.

"who is that handsome man?"
"is he someone important?"
i'm a rare breed. handsome, brilliant, driven, moral, sensitive, eloquent, perfect teeth, well-read, curious about life, immaculately dressed, industrious, and i pay careful attention to hygiene.
i've noticed, of late, the puzzled eyes of strangers trained upon my every step.
i can't help what i've become, and i wonder if i have truly matured into a model of what lesser men envy.
