Reminds me of that film Sphere starring Dustin Hoffman and Samuel L. Jackson where there was a gigantic squid that attacked that underwater lab and nearly crushed the entire station.

I know they're not real, silly. But that thought would scare the crap out of me when I was young. Actually the whole idea behind the ability to manifest the most ugliest, insane, incomprehensible creatures and chaos out of thin air and the light-speed pace of a thought is what is really quite frightening.
