Since 1936, there have always been Weinermobiles on the road, except during the war.  At that time, Weinermobile Special Armoured Vehicles were snuck into Europe to defeat the Nazis.  The Weinermobiles were paraded down Vienna streets, which was fitting, given the etymology of the word weiner.
