OP here.  You guys got it.  Each food is popularly associated with consecutive presidents.  Bush Sr. was asked at one point what snack he liked, given that Reagan kept jelly beans around.  He answered pork rinds.  The Clinton meme for a while was that he loved his fast food burgers, getting fat.  This was before the blowjob frenzy in the media.  Jay Leno built his whole career on blowjob jokes until OJ Simpson knifed some people.  And we can infer that Bush Jr. liked pretzels when one almost killed him.
