what's the best way to hang yourself

there's the long drop, which kills you rapidly and can even decapitate you if it's a really long drop, but you need to be brave enough to jump
then the short "drop", the most agonizing way to die because you suffocate slowly (this suffocation also causes severe panic I thinks, something with CO2 levels in yuor blood). I put drop in quotation marks because you can just put a rope around someones neck and then lift it over a tree or crane. I hear that's what they did whith blacks in america and gays in Iran

but I heard there was a third and better way... it's a kind of hanging you can do from the height of a door knob. the point of that hanging is to cut off the blood supply to your brain... it's supposedly why choking game/autoerotic asphyxiation is dangerous, it happens so fast. now these may be urban legends but you DO hear about prisoners hanging themselves from their bed. I esperimented a bit, the first try gave a throat ache. the second try my head felt like it would explode. i read this is because I blocked the outer veins in my neck, which return blood from the brain. the onese that supply blood to the brain are a bit deeper. I didn't tie a knot or anything though, just wrapped a computer cable around my neck and held it with my hands. I'd like to know what you think is the best way to go about this and which kind of wire to use

I think the real problem with suicide is that there is no way of knowing if the other side is even more painful to deal with than this side.  I think it's best to preoccupy your suicidal self with books with many pages, DVD's, etc.  It also might be helpful to get a second job.  Stay so busy that you don't have time to think about offing yourself.  As time goes by you'll come back around to the amazingly nothingness of life.  There is no meaning.  Just see what happens to you.
