The driving force behind socialism is guilt

Name: Anonymous 2009-08-14 20:37

Guilt for being smart. Guilt for being strong. Guilt for being able.

This is the only way in which a competent, rational and productive mind could support the ideology of socialism.

Obviously, the weak support socialism and left-wing policies, because they're the ones that gain from it. They benefit by having resources forcibly taken away from the so-called "exploiters" and "privileged" of society (Hence denoting that their sources of wealth were respectively gained from dishonest and unfair means), and redistributed in the name of fairness and equity.

"Bububububu we were taken advantage of", "Bububu the system's unfair", "Bubububu we never had a chance"

Was it this defeatist mentality that made America the #1 nation in the world? Was this the mentality that created all of the great and amazing things we see in society today? Did this mentality build the skyscraper, invent the cellular phone, create roads, invent new cures?

I am not a slave to everyone else. I should not feel responsible for bearing the burdens of others. And no sane and competent mind should feel this way, either.

Discuss.
