I need to beat fear of heights quick

I moved to an appartment last month and I still haven't put up thhe curtains yet because I'm afraid of heights. So now everybody on the other side of the street can see me sit behind my pc all day long :( I also have social phobia so this is quite the dilemma.
Help me, please!
