IMHO the only stuff worth remembering was:

The Matrix (1999)
Independence Day
Men in Black

That's about it....it was a pretty bland decade

Wow, you must of been a rather sheltered little kid during the decade if you think those things you've mentioned represent the epitome of what was the 1990's.
