Seriously, it's really distracting.  I saw a clip and thought it was going to be some gay twink porn.

Two clear reasons jump out.  One, it's what the market demands;  apparently consumerist society's ideal man is pretty.  And two, you find him so pretty that you are "distracted" by it.  Can't help ya with that one.
