My Genesis

And the Goddess looked down upon the land, and she found it barren and dry, for the life that was, was but living clay. She took this clay, she shaped man, and the image pleased her, for it was strong and capable of submitting her creation to his will.

But man was without spirit or purpose. He just sat there, without eating or drinking, looking as lifeless as ever, and soon he melted back into the clay he was formed from.

The Goddess was most displeased with this, so she created thirst and hunger, and above all she created pain, to steer man according to her will.

Driven by the newfound will of their Goddess, man now began to prey on eachother for food, and the Goddess rejoiced at the sight of the slaughter, for it would breed strong and vicious men, worthy of siezing and shaping her work according to her will.

But again man lost his spirit and will to fight. The Goddess found man making alliances and peace, preying only on the lowest of spieces, and soon he had melted into weak lumps of clay.

This would not do, so the Goddess took man and ripped him asunder, and from the lesser lump she created guardians to keep man in check. These guardians she named woman. And she whispered into the ear of woman: "I will give you both a limited time to do what I please, after which I will destroy you back into the clay you once was. Your lot during this time is to create new men and women to survive me. I have made your body weak and feeble, so that it will submit to being seduced and raped by man. Man will fight to reunite with you, for they can feel a loss you cannot, but you will desire only the strongest and fiercest to have you. This is my gift to you, that you will be the guardian of life while I'm away."

And the Goddess rejoiced, for once again brother killed brother in lively slaughter, and woman knew her word through rape and abuse. Her work complete, the Goddess grew bored and turned her back on earth.
