It is truly a historic plate.  Why, I still have my Nixon plate circa 1972, and to this day I enjoy eating baked brown beans off of it.  I like to eat the beans covering the eyes first, so that I may see Nixon stare up at me as I eat my beans.  There's a real spiritual bond there, between Nixon and me, at that moment.

Nixon, staring upward through the beans.  Truly an outstanding picture.  What should Obama stare upward through?
