So this drunk redneck son of a bitch came in for a haircut tonight.
He had a flask with him full of God knows what, but you could smell the shit on his breath.
I was back in the office doing banking and the two girls who work up front came back, told me he was there, and asked if I could handle it because he made them VERY uncomfortable.
So I went to the front to ring the guy up and waited for him to finish chatting with other stylists and showing off his tattoos.
He turned and saw me, looked back at the stylists and said, "What is HE doing working in a place like this?!".
They all responded by saying, "He keeps all of us women in line" and the dude goes, "suuuuuuure thats what it is".
So yeah, I got called gay by a guy who clearly doesn't like gays.
But you know what, gay community? It didn't fucking bother me and I didn't lose any sleep over it. I was polite to the guy, did my job, and kept on going with my life.
