social phobia sucks

I called off work today because I just couldn't leave the house.
My commute takes 40 minutes (bike-train-walking) and feels like an absolute nightmare everytime. Getting a car is no solution, because I get the feeling that the drivers in the other lanes are all watching me.

No kidding, I've been in psychiatry for three years and I have been diagnosed with depression, schizophreniform disorder, paranoid schizophrenia and schizotypal personality disorder by a load of different psychologists and psychiatrists. Others have suspected I have borderline personality disorder, schizoid personality disorder or asperger's syndrome. None of these make sense to me.

Personally, I believe I have a bad case of avoidant personality disorder which resulted in schizoid behaviour, not personality, because I have absolutely no need for social contact (like schizoid pd) but I am VERY concerned about what people think of me (which is very much unlike schizoid pd).
