Anon in need

I'm 18 and I've never kissed a girl before, pathetically terrible I know. This girl I like (who apparently likes me to) invited me to her birthday party this Saturday and I may have a very good chance of changing all that however. So I come asking for advice on kissing, is it something I just do or is there a certain trick to it?

Should I just be frank about it? Tell her I've never kissed a girl before because the way I see it either way she'll know. At least I can be honest.
