Members of the emo culture from what I've seen with my own eyes usually belong to families that are financially well because the parents are doctors, lawyers, or "sales marketing specialists" which pretty much means they do nothing and get big pay checks just for showing up to "work". Anyway the emos live in large homes, they own an SUV, they own a BMW or Mercedes-Benz, and they own every new piece of technology like iPods, iPhones, and PS3s that there is. They also have the money to buy expensive items of clothing usually from the store Hot Topic to satisfy their fashion needs.
Material things aside for a minute, they have tons of friends, their families get along, and they have dinner every night. Yet for some reason being "sad" is part of their image. They have everything I don't. If anybody should be sad it's me yet I'm not listening to bad music, dying my hair black and combing it over one eye, and uploading videos onto MySpace or Youtube. In fact I don't even visit those websites.
