Dating

I have know this girl for four years now, I just turned 16 so I'm going to ask her out tomorrow. She loves jade  so I got her a really beautiful necklace if she says yes. but what if she doesn't? I have faced rejection but she is the one in my mind. Other guys are always looking for a shot but no one gets her. Should I go threw with it or just keep our friendship. I don't want another guy going for her though.
