Abnormal Replies

Hey, I'm not sure if this would go here, but I can't think of any place else.
Lately I've been trying respond in threads on the image boards here lately and I've been getting warnings that that my replies are abnormal and thus omitted.
At first I thought I might have triggered a word filter, but that doesn't seem to be the case, I wouldn't be so alarmed if it weren't for the fact that last time this happened I was banned for no given reason.

tl;dr Just what does abnormal reply mean, and am I banned?
(P.S. I checked the FAQ and there wasn't anything about this that I could see.)
