I know plenty of girls that fucking hate jerks. Its not being a jerk that gets you laid; you often appear LIKE a jerk when you have enough confidence to pick up girls. Note that there are different types of girls with ranging personalities, and the girls that you talk about are shallow, irritating, retarded little babies who whine about every little thing. Note that they are hot, and girly girls are fucking incredible, but your perspective is totally wrong.
The concept of the "nice guy" is the guy that sits at home playing Wii all day long and does nothing towards having a girlfriend. They could be fucking pope john paul; if they do not practice simple techniques and take part in several activites they have no chance for success with women.
ANY man can get A girl, even a psychopath. It just takes work, and effort. Instead of playing the wii, go out with your friends. Get to know people. If you love anime, get an anime girlfriend. Surprisingly, many girls who are into anime are just as good as the girl next door, if not better. Into anime, less makeup, less BULLSHIT, easy conversations.....Makes for a good time.
Also, NEVER go for something that is out of your league. Always start slow, and figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are.
