Koreans make me want to stab them

Name: Alexander Tucci 2008-04-04 8:25

Growing up with an all English family is only funny when I walk into a classroom and find that oriental kids with parents who speak little-to-no English are getting higher marks then me. I find that incredible on so many levels and depressing on a whole new scale. My hobby is writing and my goals in life revolve around literature and yet despite my high levels of linguistic skills, I can hand over a piece of my work to anyone and still watch them vomit out more insults then Donald Trump against Rosy O'Donnell. This is probably why I get that homicidal feeling when I see my Korean friend score a better mark on an English exam. Isn't that an odd thought that a child with awards in public speaking is losing to kids who butcher the English language every time they open their god forsaken mouths. For Christ sake they can't even say "English", unless "Hinglish" is close enough. Them speaking in our country is a prime example of God and his sense of humor.

So as I continue to write this English paper I pray that my arm won't twitch and stab the little Korean girl beside me in the eye or better yet her mouth. So I won't have to hear her say "Huess hwat hi got hon hi Hinglish hxam!". I'm not against immigrants of any kind, don't get me wrong, it's merely their presence in a classroom that makes my brain throb with questions about our society.
