Why can't He just make a new imageboard dedicated to news? Rename the transportation board like /tr/ and bring news back to /n/? /tr/ is not used but it might bring a little confusion with /trv/ The travel board, but they're closely related boards anyway.

Well, obvious mootle CAN do it. But when you're out to completely fag something up, you don't do the right thing ... you do the WRONG thing. Mootfag just swapped out /n/ for some gayfailing tra/n/sportation theme. He didn't make another newsboard. He didn't pry his cumstained hands from around his tiny wood in order to type in a few commands on his beatoff terminal (yes, that's right, moot whacks his wang to ASCII porn!).
4chan used to have a board dedicated to trains, /r/. (Not the modern /r/ we all know) With thatdog, who runs 1chan, (It's even mentioned in a few old news posts somewhere) but that got deleted.
I think that news and transportation can co exist. I know Moot won't do it, but I can try to email this suggestion to Him, although He'll probably be busy whacking it to ASCII porn, as you said.
