Shiny buttons are shit garbage

Vista is the most obvious example.  Every fucking button or bar has a crap two-tone appearance, the top part being a lighter shade than the bottom, as if the stuff was being shone upon by the sun or some shit.  Even the 4chan logo has this retarded shiny effect.  It's crap.

No, I perceive them less visually appealing.  They look fake for one thing, and shitty.  And lots of things that aren't shiny sell great.  Big Macs sell great, for example.
