Doom - Repercussions of Evil

John Stalvern stood in full marine gear, waiting patiently for his orders.
The lights above him flickered and fluttered vividly, as if something wild and unnatural possessed the very wiring. Even the little brief light they provided now barely lit up the trashed remnants of this once so peaceful Mars base.

He didn't need to be told who the intruders were - he didn't need to see to believe. As soon as the screaming had began to fill the radio waves, he knew:
There were demons in the base.
In contrast to his team mates shocked realization, John had been expecting them, for years.

This was what he had tried to warn colonel Joson about. The nightmares, the omens, the stories, and even the occational possessions as the evil had slowly seeped into the base, grasping it even tigher, all these reports so obvious to him, had been forwarded to his local health physician instead. They hadn't listened, and now it was too late. Far too late.

John had been a space marine for 14 years now. He still remembered watching the spaceships as a young boy, and what his father had told him.
"I want to be on those ships, daddy."
"NO! You'll get KILLED BY DEMONS!"
There was a time when John had believed in him - that demons would come for him if he ever set foot on a spaceship, but as he grew older he had dismissed this as things fathers tell their sons when they wanted to discourage them from certain career paths they didn't agree with. ...but now, deep in the UAC Mars base, he knew: There were demons.

"This is colonel Joson", the radio crackled. "calling all marines."
John listened to the orders given. He realized that the fact that a high ranking officer was adressing his ranks directly meant that the chain of command wasn't just broken - it had been viped out. John dared not guess at just how many soldiers that had been wiped out in that process. The demons weren't coming for him as much as they were saving him for last. John clenched his plasma rifle tight as he made his way through the haunted corridors, his fathers words still ringing in his ears. Finally Joson had given him the opportunity to take the fight to them.

The demons wailed in surprise as the wall of the large room suddenly exploded, clearing a hole of away melted metal large enough for one doomed spacemarine to enter through the smoke.
"The door was locked.", John sneered in triumph. He could almost glimpse fear in these despicable hellspawn, saying: "He's going to kill us!"
He soon found his overpowering entrance to be shortlived however, as the floor itself started to shake underneath the thundering steps of heavy hooves. The legions of hell soon parted to give way before one of its massive generals as it emergenced out of the back of the room. Towering before him stood the demon that had tormented his nightmares. It was like no other, enhanced by the technology of hell, its arm ending in a huge rocket launcher. John knew, as the cyberdemon gave up a roar that froze him to his very core, that he stood face to face with his destiny.

...but he would not die. He'd blow them all back to hell. Letting loose a scream of defiance, at both the demon and his father, he charged into the room. The demon took a steady aim and a violent barrage of rockets started raining down around Johns position. John fired vildly at the large target as he dodged both explosions and hellspawn, one continuous burst of plasma after another. It wasn't until the roof descended upon both of them that John realized what firing these many heavy rockets inside a base would mean.

As John looked down on where his legs was, he discovered them buried underneath metal plating secured by a large beam that has falled from the ceiling. He looked around him for his rifle, but found it far out of his reach. Luckily the huge cyberdemon has suffered a similar fate, his deadly artillery no longer working.
"NO!", he cried out in a raging despair. "I MUST KILL THE DEMONS! I... MUST..."
He started clawing away at the metal in a furious attempt to free them. "I'll kill you all!", he mumbled continuously. "I'll hunt every last one of you down and I'll kill you with my bare hands! I'll kill you and I'll drag you all down to hell with me! Especially you, Joson! I'll make particularly sure that you LISTEN TO ME! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!"

Joson shut off the com channel. Stalvern had become one of them now. He had become the demons.

Not everyone "gets" simplisticism. Embrace complicationism.

Listen up you disgusting pigs,

I recently logged onto my 16 year old son's computer because I'm having trouble with my office machine. Right on his desktop he has a folder marked /lounge/. I figured that it must be where he keeps his animay movies, but I opened it up and was HORRIFIED by what I saw. It was laden with gay sex stories, homosexuality, and all around deviant, sickening text files. You people let my son onto your website without ANY age verification, he was reading things that I never imagined could exist.

I will be filing legal papers soon unless you take down this offensive site or change your policies so that minors may not access it. In addition, I will be petitioning your webmaster to pay for my son's psychiatrist fees, which are going to be substantial considering what I've seen.

Sincereley,

We, the FBI, are aware of this issue.
But thanks for your complaint. The more parents are aware of this the more pressure the government gets.

Don't worry, Sellers. 4chan has age verification the first time someone access this site. Apparently your little criminal-in-the-making of a son violated this agreement (and is clearly gay). If you insist on minors accessing this site being a major offence, you should urge the judge to try your sun as an adult.
