American Schools

What's the point of secondary education (middle and high school) in the United States? You learn nothing. It's one big social shithole were little learning takes place. Actually you do learn some things like how to get pregnant, how to do drugs, and how to cheat on tests. Primary education (elementary school) though in the United States isn't that bad, they teach most of the kids basic mathematics, science, history, and how to read and write. Although a lot of that knowledge is lost in secondary school.

They should start training people for a trade in public school instead of this elitist higher education bullshit where all the wrong people are given all the wrong jobs. I dropped out of school. Not because I do drugs, I'm stupid, or I'm lazy. I quit because I don't believe in ignorance, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, the smoking of tobacco and marijuana, the use of other drugs, dating, and fornication. They were also basing grades on social and economic status, not knowledge and effort.

Instead I decided to take a series of five General Educational Development (GED) Tests and I passed them with above average scores. I was awarded a High School Equivalency Diploma which certifies that I satisfactorily completed comprehensive tests selected by the Commissioner of Education for determining general educational achievement equivalent to high school graduation.

Studies have shown that most high school graduates when tested have failed to pass the GED Tests. Ironically some of its critics who likely have never seen the test refer to it as, "too easy".

Most people with degrees can't even do the professions that they studied in a university for 4 years any better than a 5th grader, if not worse. Yet they're the experts because they're "qualified". I know I'll have a hard time financially in this society that is based so much on false education but I don't care about that. I'm satisfied knowing inside that I'm pretty smart, who cares what other people think. All those companies would rather hire people who don't know anything. It's their loss.

This is what people should do:
Rename the course levels from "CP," "AE," and "Honors" to "Basic," "Intermediate," and "Expert." Second, create a school-wide listing of the GPA's of people to function as a ranking. Third, within each class, there should be a list of everyone's grades sorted by the order of the numeric value of the grades. Fourth, everyone's grades at every assignment and every class average must be made public sorted by the same method. Fifth, good grades should be rewarded.

The problem with schools in the U.S. is that people are too focused on self-esteem, that they really do not want people to do well because "that hurts the feelings of people who fail at school." Result? No learning, just all failures, and trying to get people to feel satisfied with their failure.
