I'm really not sure.

No, this isn't a flaming discussion nor do I care for the various pros and cons of the OSs; I've made up my mind.
The problem is that I've always been a gamer. And recently, at work, I've fallen in love with bash and vim and linux in general.

Battlefield 2142 and bash do not play nice together. So I either continue being a mindless "gamer" drone, or I throw all of that  behind me (I'm 20 now) and start hacking some OS software together.

Dual booting is just not the answer. It's a hassle and just horrible. Anything in between is just horrible.
I want to say I want both, but do I really? Part of me feels like I hate games, and a part hates linux. Actually, I lie. I hate gaming more than coding.
But equally, I love gaming more? than coding?

I'm confused now. I don't even know who I am. Used to be easy when I defined myself as a gamer.

Now, wait just a second here.  First you said that you could "see" why, and now you're asserting you "know" why.  Seeing something and knowing it, are two different things.  Can you account for this discrepancy?
