Lets say you walk into a room. The rooom is covered with blood stains on the walls with a kniife on
the floor. This knife too, is soaked in blood. Next to the knife, lies a motionless body, with several
visibile knife wounds in the body. Now, lets say that there is a person standing next to the body.
This person has blood over his hands, blood spattered on his face, and a smirk on his face as he
looks down at the body. Forensice evidence later will even prove his fingerprints are on the knife.
BUT, there also happens to be a letter on the floor next to the body. You open the letter and it reads
as follows:
"Hello, my name is (insert female name here) and I have sacrficed myself. The person standing
over my body has nothing to do with my death and he was a mere witness. I am the only one that
has anything to do with my death and I take full responsibilty for it. The reason for the fingerprints on
the knife is because this man was using the knife earlier to cut some tomatoes."
Now according to the text evidence given to us next to the body, this lady killed herself. And given
we did not actually witness any murder, then we must assume that this man did not kill her. We must
assume this despite any and all evidence of the murder right there. Since no one witnessed this
except this "innocent" man... the murder never happened right? Wrong. This is very similar to the
so-called logic of the Bible and its explanation of the creation of the earth. The Bible says that the
earth is 6000 years old and that God created this Earth and Heaven in 6 days and man was
created within those 6 days. Even though we have evidnce such as carbon dating, which easily
proves that the earth is roughly 4.5 billion years old. Despite evidence such as fossil records that
prove that there was life on Earth well over 6000 years ago. We must refute all of this evidence that
is laid out in front of us because after all....someone left a letter saying otherwise.

the bible is a coded text and hold double if not triple meanings there is a meaning for the common people...then there is a meaning for thoes who lead...then there was a third meaning for the priests and kabbalists.

There is a difference between the murder/suicide scenario and the whole thing of the bible.
All logic dictates that a murder did happen and that perhaps the suicide note was either forged or the murdered individual was forced into signing a suicide note. Something along those lines.
As far as the bible thing goes, I feel that it is like all other historical and mythical writings from the ancient world, in that you can either believe it or don't.
I don't follow the bible nor do I believe everything we see before us was created in six days. I just say, there is nothing disproving it's accuracy except for some numbers that may have been guessed back then because they had no concept of math like we do now.
"History is written by the winners" as one said, making most historic facts biased.

You fool people were much simpler back then they needed stories to believe in of course not every word in the bible is historically correct. But none the less in the actually original texts there are meanings behind the words of thoes texts. And yes there are codes in the bible. The common person would listen to the lessons the bible taught...the leaders would interpret and tech the laws the bible laid down...and the priests would study and find the meanings behind the words and the codes.

Actually, theres plenty of things disproving it's accuracy but it never seems to phase anybody because from what I've seen, blind faith is blind fath; regardless of proof. Solid. Fucking. Proof. Whatever, fuck it, let those religious assholes think what they want. There's no way of proving them wrong in the afterlife if the afterlife doesn't exist so why bother. Let them waste their lives.

Makes perfect sense to me.
So that breaks the bible down to one part fantasy, one part fables, and one part history.
You just made me interested in the Bible now. Doesn't mean I am converted, just curious now.

You sound like Jahovas Witness or an Islamic Radical. Pushing your belief on us of what YOUR world view is on us and treating the rest of us like ignorant dogs.
Seriously, if this is a retaliation against them for doing the same, then your borderline hypocrite.

thats exactly what it is nothing more nothing less...it is ment to guide the common person such as op...lead the leader...and teach the scholar...all in one...i am jewish i have studied these texts all my life as a jew you are a entered in to classes called talmud torah...meaning student of the torah...i have devoted my self to studying these texts...i am also a descendent of tribe levi...as a jew this is my finding of the bible it has multiple meanings...but for the last you must discover your self...there is no need for you to belive in its teachings but look beyond its words and you will see truth.

Here is my closing argument on the bible:
Study not the literal teachings of the bible nor its historical accounts but the words and look beyond them.

People just don't like to believe the fact that when they die, they just die. You just fade away and are forgotten about as a dog would be 50 years after its death. It's fine, believe whichever one you want. I think religion is a great way to lead a morally correct life whether the Bible is correct or not, it still is a great guideline to live by. But, even having said all of that, I think it is still possible for moral values to exist independent of religion.

what ive never understood about the bible is if jesus will forgive you for all your sings whats the point of trying to be a good person if your christian. couldnt you just rape and murder anyone you want but then just repent later and be like "im sorry father..." and still go to heaven. so whether an atheist or agnostic or anything else believed in christianity, just as a sfaety precaution later, the person could go to a chruch and repent. just in case that christianity is right and you go to heaven
What I've never understood about the Bible is, if Jesus will forgive you for all your sins, what is the point of trying to be a good person if you're Christian. Couldn't a person just rape and murder anyone they wanted and simply repent afterwards and say "I'm sorry" and still end up in heaven? So whether an atheist, agnostic, or anyone else from any other religion is a Christian or not; this said person could go to a church towards the end of his/her life and repent in case Christians are right. If they repented they would be in Heaven anyways.
