Am I ever able to get out?

I've been in my house for the past 7 years, nothing changed.  I've been outside for only a limited time (around 1hr each week to buy grocery). I'm so far behind of the society.  Ever since I failed my first semester of my university, I dropped out.  I've never worked my entire life.  Now if I head out and ask for a job, will I be able to get one?  What do you think?

go to unemployment and take tests. you might get a grant to GB2 the university...
do something behind the scenes. like a Virtual Assistant. go get a book from Amazon.

though the start-up costs are kinda high if your broke...
