IN one of my posts on b like a bunch of people said they were "saging " my thread, what does it mean? Sage is like a wise person, so are they saying my thread had some good wisdom? cause it was supposed to be funny not intellectual.
I'm going to be a cunt here and say that "sage" comes from the japanese word "sageru", among other things meaning to lower or to degrade. I don't know if it still works on these boards, but on the japanese boards you could prevent your post from being bumped to the top of the forum, by putting "sage" in the e-mail field, thus letting it sink into obscurity, probably because it was a shitty thread that you didn't care about.
