Wtf does "sage" mean?

Hi you guys! My name is dickey! Just wonderingggggggggg....what does sage mean? It seems like you guys say it alot.....I just want to know! Thank you!

"sage" is what the friendly community of 4chan usually posts to incline a good thread, basically short for, "OP is a sage/OP is very wise". Other expressions used by the friendly users to the same effect include "win", "epic" or perhaps the most common, "lulz" which is a corruption of the word "lol".
